Forgeline Supply Co. — Shipping Policy

Effective Date: May 28, 2026

Last Updated: May 28, 2026

Thank you for choosing Forgeline Supply Co. We specialize in distributing professional-grade commercial garage, automotive, and industrial equipment. Because our products are exceptionally heavy, oversized, and high-value, they are transported via specialized commercial freight carriers rather than standard parcel services.

Please review our logistics protocols below to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

1. Shipping Zones & Rates

  • Coverage Area: We ship exclusively to the contiguous United States (Lower 48 states). We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, international destinations, or P.O. Boxes/APO/FPO addresses.

  • Standard Freight Rates: Shipping costs are calculated directly at checkout or provided via custom freight quotes, depending on the manufacturer warehouse location, equipment weight, and destination zip code.

2. Order Processing & Transit Timelines

Our automated fulfillment pipeline routes your order directly to the manufacturer's factory floor to ensure rapid dispatch:

  • Order Processing Time: Most standard, in-stock catalog orders are reviewed, fraud-screened, and processed at the warehouse within 2 to 5 business days (Monday – Friday).

  • Transit Delivery Window: Once picked up from the manufacturer's loading dock by the freight carrier, standard LTL transit times generally range between 3 to 10 business days to arrive at your designated delivery address.

  • Tracking Data: As soon as your equipment is secured onto the freight trailer, we will automatically email you a shipping confirmation containing your tracking number and the carrier's online tracking link.

Note: Custom production configurations, specific factory paint requests, or unexpected manufacturer backorders may experience extended processing times. You will be notified immediately if a delay applies to your order.

3. LTL Freight Delivery Requirements (Crucial Buyer Rules)

Because heavy machinery arrives on an 18-wheeler semi-truck, you must select the correct delivery type during checkout to avoid carrier delay penalties:

Commercial (Business) Delivery

To qualify for standard commercial delivery, your location must meet strict commercial parameters:

  • Must possess a formal business physical location with a designated commercial loading dock or a forklift capable of safely unloading heavy palletized freight (e.g., 2,000lb+ car lifts).

  • Must have clear, unobstructed road access for a full-sized 53-foot semi-truck trailer.

Residential & Limited-Access Delivery

If your equipment is delivering to a home shop, residential property, farm, or a business location without a loading dock/forklift, the following conditions apply:

  • Liftgate Service: You must request Liftgate Service at checkout. A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of the freight truck that safely lowers your palletized equipment from the trailer bed down to the ground level.

  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will call you at the primary phone number provided on your order to schedule a mandatory Delivery Appointment window. Someone of legal age must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for the goods.

4. Inspection & Damage Protocol (Protect Your Order)

When the freight truck arrives, do not sign the carrier’s paperwork right away. The moment you sign the Bill of Lading (BOL) cleanly, you are legally certifying that the equipment arrived in perfect condition, which instantly voids your right to file a carrier insurance claim.

Follow this exact protocol on delivery day:

  1. Inspect the Exterior: Check the crating, shrink-wrap, and steel framing carefully for any signs of scraping, dents, or tears before the driver unloads.

  2. Note Any Damage: If you notice structural damage but the equipment is still completely usable, you MUST write "Damaged Upon Arrival" clearly on the driver's Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing your name. Take high-resolution photos immediately.

  3. Refuse Severe Damage: If the machinery is visibly crushed, broken, or severely compromised, REJECT the delivery entirely. Tell the driver you are refusing due to shipping damage, take photos, and contact us immediately at support@forgelinesupplyco.com so we can dispatch a factory replacement.

5. Shipping Misdelivery Fees & Administrative Costs

Buyers are responsible for providing completely accurate logistics details. Additional fees assessed by the carrier due to buyer error will be billed directly to the customer:

  • Redelivery Fees: Charged if the carrier attempts delivery during a scheduled appointment but no one is present to sign, or if a semi-truck cannot physically access your property.

  • Storage Fees: Assessed if you fail to schedule or accept a delivery within the carrier's designated hold window once the freight arrives at the local terminal.

  • Address Correction Fees: Billed if you request an address reroute after the equipment has already left the manufacturer's warehouse dock.

6. Order Cancellations and Diverted Shipments

  • If you cancel your order after it has left the manufacturer's shipping dock, or if you refuse a delivery on a perfectly non-damaged machine, the shipment will be treated as a standard return.

  • In these cases, the actual round-trip transport costs (outbound freight tracking costs plus return transport fees back to the factory warehouse) along with standard manufacturer restocking fees (15% to 25%) and the 3% merchant gateway processing fee will be deducted directly from your final refund balance.
