A brake lathe resurfaces rotors and drums so new pads and shoes bed in evenly and drivers do not feel pulsation at the pedal. The Katool KT-C9372 is a combination disc and drum bench brake lathe. According to its published specifications it handles rotor diameters from 4 to 20 inches with up to 2.85 inch rotor thickness, drum diameters from 6 to 19.5 inches with 6.5 inch drum depth, and flywheels from 6 to 24 inches. Spindle speed runs from 70 to 320 RPM with infinitely adjustable feed rates, the standard 1 inch arbor carries up to 150 lb, an adapter package is included, and it runs on 110V or 220V.
